Since being re-elected in 2014, I have worked hard to handle all my cases while being fair to everyone that appeared in my court. I was the only Republican judge elected in Jefferson County in 2014. It was a close election, and I could not have won without your help.

After thoughtful consideration and discussions with my family, I have decided to run for the Alabama Court of Criminal Appeals in 2018. This is a state-wide position that handles appeals from courts such as the one I preside over at this time. Again, I know that I cannot be successful without your help.
